Creating the photobook layout – FMP

For my final major project I have decided I want to exhibit my work within a photobook as well as exhibition prints. For this I printed out small prints of all the images I thought I wanted to be included in the book and cut it down to 30 images. I then explored different fonts and sized fonts as well as the quotes that I actually wanted within the book and the length of these quotes. The images below show the process I went through and a few screenshots of the final book layout within lightroom ready to send to blurb.

Easter Weddings

This past easter weekend I had two weddings, on Friday I had the pleasure of photographing Carl & Tracey’s wedding which took place at the lovely Bagden Hall. This was followed by a visit to my usual spot of the Durker Roods Hotel to capture Kelly & Craig’s special day. Here are a couple of pictures from each wedding!

Bagden Hall Wedding Fayre

This past weekend I attended the Bagden Hall Wedding Fayre with Wedding Fayres Yorkshire, as usual with all their events it was a fantastic day meeting lots of new brides’ and grooms! Along with myself I exhibited with the lovely Fairway Cakes, who I worked with last year on a styled shoot, also attending the fayre was Mia Sposa, Making It Perfect, Wedding Belles and Unique Wedding Flowers & Chair Covers. Take a look at some of the images I took on the day:

Music Mash Up Gig

Last night I had the pleasure of photographing a gig at Parish in Huddersfield, this was an event ran by Up & Coming Events. The event’s proceeds all went to charity Sense which helps and supports Deafblind people. Overall it was a successful and fantastic evening featuring music from Toby Burton, Mahatma Raindrop & Turbulence, all of which finished the evening off with a cover song from one of the following categories: The Beatles, Throwback or Boybands. Here are some photos I took from the gig:
